Black Squirrel Tattoo was founded in 2010 by Matt Dinovo and Mel Judkins on the corner of 40th and Farnam Street in Omaha. Drawing on years of combined experience, they created a clean, comfortable, and private environment where clients could receive high-quality, professional tattoos. While on Farnam, the shop quickly earned a reputation as one of the area’s premier tattoo studios, winning both Reader’s Choice and Best of Omaha awards for five consecutive years.
In 2016, the Farnam location closed, and Black Squirrel expanded into two new locations—one in Iowa and one in Nebraska. The Iowa studio is owned and operated by Matt, while Mel oversees the Nebraska location.
Today, we are conveniently located at 24th and Broadway. Matt and his talented team continue to bring years of experience, award-winning artistry, and a dedication to quality to the metro area.
