Black Squirrel Tattoo has a unique opportunity for a talented artist to join our team! Our studio is located inside a beautifully converted historic home—the last of its kind on Broadway. It’s a private yet highly visible space with a laid-back, professional atmosphere. We have appointment-based workflow, yet accommodate walk-ins whenever our schedule allows. Artists enjoy a private workspace with room to make it their own.
This opportunity could be a great fit for an established artist looking for a change of scenery, or a developing artist with a solid foundation who is looking to continue growing in a supportive environment.
Open to discussing either commission-based or booth rent arrangements depending on your experience, clientele, and individual situation.
More than anything, we’re looking for the right fit. Versatility, self-motivation, professionalism, and compatibility with the culture of the shop are valued far more than simply filling a station.
If you’re looking for a shop that values your independence while offering a truly one-of-a-kind setting, we’d love to hear from you!
